💔 Breaking Maria’s Innocence💔
Chapter One:
Each one of us, have a darkside, each one of us, had a dark past, each one of us, wearing a mask. A mask that can deceive someone.
“Elena? You think Jechar is loyal?” She asked me while a big smile plastered on her lips, she looks happy on something I didn’t know.
Are we talking about loyalty here? Each one of us can be loyal its just happened that some person got tempted, you can never expect someone loyalty when the temptation is just arround.
“Who is he?” I asked and then she pouted.
“Hindi mo siya kilala? Magdalawang taon ka na rito, ah.” Saad niya.
Kung alam lang niya, hindi ako narito para kilalanin ang mga tao. Hindi ako narito para sa mga bagay na naiisip niya, narito ako para tumakas, tumakas sa nakaraan na pilit kong kinalimutan.
“Is he famous?” I asked again not minding her question.
“Very famous. He’s Jechar Ventura the son of Mr and Mrs, Jake Ventura one of the richest and powerful family here in visayas.” I gave her my blank expression just for her to know that I don’t give a damn.
Ventura? I clenched my jaw as I heard the surname I loathed. Yeah! They were rich and they can do whatever they want but those ventura have no freaking heart. I have no power to get my revenge coz I am just a simple girl with a simple life.
No money, no family, nothing. I have nothing. Noon may isang taong minahal ako at itinuring akong pamilya ngunit ng dahil sa kanila nawala siya. Galit ako sa mga ventura hindi ko ipagkaila yan ngunit ayaw ko ng gulo, dahil alam ko kung kakalabanin ko sila sa simula pa lang ng labanan talo na ako.
And maybe they have they same surename but not the Ventura I loathed, maraming Ventura sa mundong ito.
“Kung hindi lang kita kilala kanina ko pa iniisip na wala akong kausap rito.” She said.
“Tsk!”
“Kung hindi dahil sa mukha mong maganda at inosente baka lahat ng studyante rito takot sayo. Hay! Kailan ko kaya makikitaan ng emosiyon ang mukha mo.” Umiwas ako ng tingin sa kanya.
Marami ang nagsabi na kung hindi dahil sa inosente kong mukha baka daw walang lumapit sa akin. I am not a friendly person, tahimik lang ako at para bang walang pakialam sa mundo.
“Isama pa ang kilos mong mahinhin kaya talaga marami pa ring nagkakagusto sayo sa kabila ng ugali mo.” Aniya.
Gone the innocent Maria coz I am now Elena. I hate how they used me before like i am just a doll for them.
“Ang dami ko ng nasabi samantalang ikaw…ano na? Tingin mo? Loyal ba si Jechar?” Kumunot ang noo ko at pinagsawa ang aking mata sa mga taong nag-uusap.
“Yeah.” As what I’ve said each one of us can be loyal, it’s depends to the person how loyal they are.
“There’s a romoured of him being seen in one of the famous bar here in visayas. Jechar was seen wasted said the people who saw him there.” Is other people’s life is special to talk to? I think not! There’s many important...

things to talk than to talk others people life.
“I can’t blame him though, Jechar girlfriend which is Thanya Madison cheated on him. She love that girl since they were childhood, it must be hard for him.” They really think if they love each other romantically they will meant to each other? No! A lot of people only want sex and not love, some people entered relationship for they have another monkey business.
“If Jechar/ Let’s go?” We said unison.
“Where to?” She asked.
She knew someone’s life maybe even thier history but how come she didn’t knew our next class? Is she that intelligent? Right! People will become intelligent when it comes to someone’s bussiness.
“Classroom.” Tsaka pa lang niya nakuha ang ibig kong sabihin, while we’re walking she still keeps on talking about Jechar which made me annoy.
“I forgot! Our recital is nearly approaching.” She looks so happy at the same time excited while I on the other hand looks so bored.
“And im pretty sure Jechar will be there since he’s family is the owner of this school.” I just listened to what she will going to say.
I admit Briana can be loud sometimes or should I say most of the times but she is the only person who can understand me. She may not a perfect friends of mine but for me she is.
“Is Jechar your crush or something?” I asked, she just smiled and looked at me with a smirk on her face.
“Nope! I’m just interested to thier family they seems so serious.” She said.
“A bussinessman can wear a mask everytime they’ll face people. They look serious but they don’t! I mean they’re human too, they can joke and laughed like what normal people did.” Her eyes widened and she looks so shocked.
“Bravo! Bravo! Bravo!” Umiiling ako ng makita ko siyang pumapalakpak na tila ba natutuwa sa sinabi ko.
“Maria Elena Gonzaga can be talkative sometimes. I should take note of it.” Briana Montana can be crazy sometimes.
For two years of being here in this place I can say I sometimes forgot the painful memories that I have even just for a while. I have Brianna with me who keeps on talking nonsense but I love her that way, she is one of the reason why I survived this kind of life. I thought to believe when you fell in love that’s the only heart break I can have, that i only felt pain once i entered relationship but no! We can felt pain by the person who have a place in our heart, a person can hurt us because we love them, because they’re special to us.
“You know what Elena, I think you’re just a loner and a boring person.” I stilled for a while.
“But for being with you for years I realized you’re not really a loner you just push those people away once you see them being engaged with you. You’re not a boring person you just want a serious talk like you don’t know the word ‘JOKE’.” And i smiled bitterly when I saw her smiled.
Maybe she is right! And I don’t care!
